We are delighted to announce the publication of the long-awaited LAYMAN Report, a key document that outlines the progress, results, and impact of the innovative LIFE ZEROENERGYMOD project. The report is now available for consultation in the downloads section of our website, and we invite all interested parties to take a look.
The LIFE ZEROENERGYMOD project, coordinated by the Foundation for Hydrogen in Aragon and supported by expert partners such as ARPA Mobile Campaign Equipment, B+HAUS Architecture, and the University Centre of Defence, has set a milestone in the development of sustainable and efficient solutions for mobile and remote environments.
This report highlights the project’s impressive achievements, including:
• A reduction to 0 kg of CO₂ emissions per year, compared to the 120 tons of CO₂/year generated by conventional modules.
• Energy autonomy of up to 48 days, eliminating the need for a continuous supply of fossil fuels.
• 96% savings in operating costs, compared to the high fuel and logistics costs of traditional alternatives.
Funded by the European Union’s LIFE Programme with a 55% contribution from a total budget of €1,178,265, LIFE ZEROENERGYMOD is directly aligned with the goals of Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (NZEB) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We encourage you to explore the LAYMAN Report to gain a deeper understanding of how this project is contributing to a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.
