On October 25, coinciding with the Spanish Passivhaus Conference in Madrid, the Passivhaus certifier for the ZEROENERGYMOD project visited the prototype to discuss certification aspects. This visit was made possible thanks to our partner, B+HAUS, a pioneering professional firm in Aragón specializing in the design of Nearly Zero Energy Buildings.
Passivhaus buildings combine high indoor comfort with very low energy consumption, pushing energy efficiency to its limits. They achieve minimal energy demand for heating and cooling throughout the year, ensuring excellent indoor air quality and performance that surpasses conventional homes.
The Passivhaus standard is adaptable to any climate, as its requirements focus primarily on energy efficiency, comfort, and health. Appropriate solutions must be implemented to meet these criteria. This standard is a key element and a protagonist in the success of the ZEROENERGYMOD project.
